yep its me again---like a lost soul I have returned to haunt you all!!!
been so busy helping my mom with the new house-have been doing the early to bed and early to rise thing--have not had time to even think about poetry let alone create a thing!!!--
Yes--my new haiku has a picture of yours truly--circa 1983. It was taken when i was 22 and i had just made the rank of petty officer third class-whoopee!! i am very very brown in this picture since at the time i was stationed in Hawaii--and the picture is very old--22 years--i just wish i still looked this good!! Age and cynicism are truly a lethal combination in my case!
Have not received my lump sum payoff from my workmans comp claim--so am very very broke--(alms for the poor-mister?) agent says 6 weeks now after i got it in writing last time 2 weeks-guy denies saying this but somewhere i have a letter stating it and as soon as i find it-i will be making a call to his boss and faxing his letter to her--i hate incompetant people-my paperwork is probably just sitting on his desk collecting dust along with about a thousand of his other claims!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Had so many messages since i have been gone almost a month-sorry all--no time to answer --will look at each of my friends sites and comment on any new work when i get a chance--again apologies for my absence-will try to set time aside at least once a week to see how you all are doing!!!
Still working on my genealogy-most interesting--my paternal grandmothers family were from a family in Tewksbury,Gloucestershire, England (hope i got that right) they were of noble blood-Sir Paul Tracy--and had a home called Stanway Manor. Paul Tracy was created a baronet in 1611 by King James I.
He was also a decendant of Sir William de Tracy- one of the four knights who assissnated Thomas Beckett in 1170.
I always knew i was special--
